Selected Work Across Land, Landscape, And Regenerative Possibility.

SELECTED WORK

A Selection Of Projects, Concepts, And Strategic Land Work Connecting Beauty, Function, Ecology, And Long-term Value.

LAND STRATEGY

Not Just What A Place Looks Like. What It Makes Possible.

The work of land strategy and landscape architecture is not limited to appearance.

It is about understanding the full potential of a property: how people move through it, how water behaves, how soil functions, where value is hidden, what should be protected, and what decisions need to happen first.

Each project begins with the same question: What can this land become if it is understood properly?

PROJECT TYPES

Five Areas Of Land Work

Private Gardens & Estates
01

For private clients who want their land to become more beautiful, functional, ecologically intelligent, and meaningful.

Farms & Regenerative Land
02

For farm owners, new land buyers, & regenerative investors looking to restore productive & ecological value.

Development & Property Value
03

For property owners and developers who understand that landscape influences desirability, retention, experience, and long-term asset value.

Private Gardens & Estates
Concept Masterplans
04
05

For complex projects requiring precision, coordination, technical thinking, and execution-level clarity.

For landowners who need a clear vision and practical sequence before investing in deeper design or construction.

CASE STUDIES 1

How The Work Unfolds

CASE STUDIES 01

The Linden Estate

Ghent, Belgium

THE CHALLENGE

The owners had inherited a large estate with a significant existing structure but no coherent vision for the surrounding land. Three separate contractors had been engaged over eight years, each working without reference to the others. The result was fragmented & expensive.

THE INSIGHT

The land had a natural water gradient that had been ignored. Every intervention to date had worked against the site's hydrology rather than with it — creating drainage costs that would compound indefinitely.

THE STRATEGY

THE RESULT

A concept masterplan was developed that reorganised the spatial sequence of the estate around the water movement, identifying three distinct zones: productive, ecological, and social. Each contractor brief that followed referenced the same spatial document.

The client described the first year after the masterplan as the first time the estate felt coherent. Two planned buildings were relocated. Drainage costs were eliminated within eighteen months.

CASE STUDIES 02

Meadow Restoration, Ardennes

Ardennes, Belgium

THE CHALLENGE

A regenerative investor had purchased a former intensive farm with the intention of ecological restoration. The soil had been depleted over decades. There was no clear sequence for how to begin without wasting years on the wrong interventions.

THE INSIGHT

The site had dormant seed banks that could speed ecological recovery if managed early. Traditional soil remediation would be slower, costlier, and delay recovery for years.

THE STRATEGY

THE RESULT

A phased ecological strategy was developed: beginning with margin management, then gradual cessation of inputs, followed by targeted seeding and grazing rotation. Each phase was designed to build on the last.

Within two growing seasons, wildflower coverage had exceeded projections by 40%. The soil biology was recovering ahead of schedule. The investor now has a replicable model for their next acquisition.

CASE STUDY 03

Domaine Concept Plan

Tuscany, Italy

THE CHALLENGE

A Family Office Had Acquired A Tuscan Property With Plans For A Private Residence And Guest Accommodation. Architects Had Been Briefed. Construction Was Weeks From Beginning. Nobody Had Yet Asked What The Land Itself Could Support.

THE INSIGHT

The Proposed Building Positions Conflicted With Two Rare Soil Profiles That Had High Viticultural And Truffle-production Potential. Relocating By 80 Metres Would Protect Both While Improving The Solar Aspect Of The Main Residence.

THE STRATEGY

THE RESULT

A Rapid Concept Masterplan Was Commissioned To Precede The Architectural Brief. The Plan Identified Land Use Zones, Ecological Sensitivities, Visual Axes, & A Phased Approach To Development That Preserved Optionality For Future Generations.

The Architectural Brief Was Rewritten. Construction Costs Were Reduced By Reconfiguring The Access Road. The Family Now Has A 25-year Land Vision Document That Informs Every Subsequent Decision.

"The Strongest Work Starts Before The Design Becomes Visible."

PROOF IN PRACTICE

Some of the most valuable decisions in a land project are not always the most visible ones.

They happen in the strategy: where not to build, what to protect, how to sequence decisions, how to connect use with ecology, and how to make the land more valuable over time.
